Hinged Window Mounts

The hinged window mount correctly suspends paper artwork within the frame. The mount literally hangs the artwork from the top edge, thus preventing the work buckling over time, under its own weight.
The window part of the mount helps to keep the artwork away from the glass and allows air to circulate between the two. It can be made up with multiple layers of board and can include different colours for a decorative effect.

Magical Float Mounting

Float mounting gives the illusion of artwork suspended within the frame with no visible means of support. This effect looks particularly good with hand made paper and papyrus with the rough edge as a feature.
