About Waterhouse Framing
Waterhouse Framing has been established for 14 years. Nigel Waterhouse, business owner and craftsman framer has over 25 years framing experience.
Before entering the framing world, Nigel completed an apprenticeship at British Rail workshops in Derby. He later changed job to work at Lucas electrical, working his way up from shop floor to a busy purchasing and logistics department.
It wasn't long before Nigel was called back to his creative roots. His parents purchased a property in Barton Under Needwood and opened an independent art gallery. Nigel was heavily involved with the running of the gallery and framed customers work and artwork for sale. When the gallery closed in 2010 Nigel continued the framing side of the business serving the local area.
He is no stranger to producing work to a high standard and a particular eye for detail. With customer's coming from Uttoxeter to Tamworth, Burton and Lichfield. Nigel very rarely advertises, he says that word of mouth and personal recommendations are the best form of advertising.
At a complete tangent to his framing business, he proudly served, from 2010 to 2024 as a retained Crew Manager with Staffordshire Fire & Rescue Service.
